How to Roast Garlic Without Using Oil

Roasted Garlic

Do you love adding freshly roasted garlic to recipes, or enjoy eating it by itself, but you're not sure how to roast it without adding olive oil? It turns out you are not alone. And, fortunately many people have been experimenting and submitting recipes. As a fan of roasted garlic I am happy to present links to a few recipes from various sources.

But, first... Garlic is a vegetable which belongs to the Allium family. This group also includes leeks, shallots, scallions and green onions. Eating foods from the Allium family has shown to reduce the risk of many types of cancer, according to several medical studies. In fact, these foods were number one in stopping cancer cell growth 100% in 7 out of 8 different tumors. Garlic was number one against breast, brain, pancreas, lung, childhood brain tumors, prostate, and stomach cancer and number two against kidney cancer. Other studies show that the types of cancers that respond well resulting in remarkable benefits are esophageal, ovarian, colorectal and laryngeal cancer.

See my blogs, Suppress Cancer Cells With Onions and Garlic! and Which Foods Suppress Cancer Cell Growth? to see how eating garlic helps fight cancer cell proliferation.
