Diet for a New America With John Robbins

Diet for a New America With John Robbins

John Robbins, who left the family business, Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream, to pursue health explains that when autopsies are done, and the material clogging the arteries is removed and sent to the pathology lab, the lab results always return stating the same thing:  "Saturated fat and cholesterol... never once has the report ever stated broccoli and tofu."

Health, environmental and ethical problems associated with animal agriculture are outlined in John's documentary, "Diet For a New America" filmed in 1991. Please enjoy this four minute video clip of what Dr. Michael Klaper's eye opening discovery when he drew the blood of a patient the night before a scheduled bypass surgery. Doctors John McDougall and T. Colin Campbell are also featured in this documentary. This is an "oldie but goodie" video in which they are all young men. This older film might help us to appreciate just how long these men have been in the trenches battling for good health.
