Adequate intake of soy foods may help guard against the breast cancer development.

This research work examined the consumption of soy foods and the incidence of breast cancer in Japanese women. Researchers reviewed data and evidence extracted from relevant published literatures on the subject. They observed that regular consumption of soy and isoflavone-rich foods diminished the risk of developing breast cancer. The findings of this study show that generous intake of soy foods may protect women from breast cancer.
