Let the Chef and the Dietitian Inspire You!

Let the Chef and the Dietitian Inspire You!

You may already be familiar with Chef Abbie Jaye (Chef AJ) and Julieanna Hever; two multi-talented and well-known culinary instructors, speakers, authors and television personalities in the plant-based diet community -- but have you seen their 60+ episodes of The Chef and the Dietitian on YouTube? This lively duo not only demonstrates how to make quick and easy whole-food, plant-based recipes, they do so in an entertaining and engaging way! Together, they prepare delicious soups, bean spreads, salads, cheese alternatives, desserts, sauces, main entrees, and even entire menus for holiday occasions! A few episodes even feature a few of our plant-based nutritional experts such as Doctors T. Colin Campbell and Joel Fuhrman (who playfully cooks a fictitious dish with the intention of using ingredients you will definately NOT want to eat!)

Julieanna Hever and Chef AJ's whole-food, plant-based recipes focus on being oil-free and low-fat with little or no added sodium or sugars, although their dessert and special-occasion recipes are higher in calories/fat/sodium/sugars. If you're struggling with losing weight or reversing a serious illness, I encourage you to avoid the recipes with these rich ingredients. See my Starch-Smart®System for more details.

Many more delicious recipes are available in Chef AJ's book, Unprocessed, and Julieanna Hever's books The Complete Idiot's Guide to Plant-Based Nutrition, The Complete Idiot's Guide to Gluten-Free Cooking, and The Vegiterranean Diet: The New and Improved Mediterranean Eating Plan.
