Fruits and vegetables and endometrial cancer risk: a systematic literature review and meta-analysis.

Low endometrial cancer risk is associated with women who frequently consumed large servings of fruits and vegetables.

This study evaluated the association between the consumption of fruits and vegetables and the incidence of endometrial cancer. Researchers reviewed data obtained from relevant published literatures on the topic. They discovered that high intake of fruits and vegetables, particularly cruciferous vegetables, significantly reduced endometrial cancer risk. The findings of this review show that increased consumption of fruits and vegetables may confer significant protection against the development of endometrial cancer.
