Regular consumers of eggs may have  a high tendency of developing gastrointestinal neoplasm.

This study evaluated the relationship between regular consumption of eggs and the likelihood of developing gastrointestinal neoplasm. Researchers conducted a meticulous meta-analysis on data obtained from 443,719 subjects. They observed that subjects with high dietary intake of eggs had higher risk of developing neoplasm in the gastrointestinal tract. The results of this meta-analysis provide evidence that increased consumption of eggs may promote the development of neoplastic cells in the gastrointestinal tract.
