In many of my Posts, I mention the fundamental significance of using a log to learn and manage my Type-1 diabetes, not to mention discovering the profound benefits of a Whole Food Plant Based Starch Smart diet. It has been requested that I provide a blank copy of my Type-1 diabetic log file, so here it is!

My log has evolved over the years of my diabetic journey. The original log was for learning and discovery as well as diabetes management. As I have learned and gained experience, the log has condensed. I thought it would be good to provide both versions.

This is my current log spanning 27 June to 07 July, 2017. As you can see it is quite a chicken-scratch and as you can also see, I'm not perfect! I do miss my 70 - 100mg/dl limit on ocassion, but not too far off: 27_Jun_to_07_Jul_2017_Log.pdf. IMPORTANT! Do not attempt to use my log entries for your blood-sugar management! It wouldn't even work for me. The reason for the logs is to track control through all the variables in life. It is never the same, thus the numbers are not for duplication. The numbers placed in the log is for prediction, not for dupliation. The numbers, insulin dose, etc. is different now than it was in this sample log. It is different today than it was yesterday. It is a continuous progression. The goal is to maintain a track with all the variables in life to keep blood-sugar between 70 - 100 mg/dl at all times.
