Ken's Type-1 Diabetes Journey-2: Disclaimer
This is my first attempt at writing a blog, so please bear with me as I "learn the ropes".
First, I would like to point out that what type-1 diabetes has taught me applies to EVERYONE.
Also first, it should be understood that I am not a medical professional at any level. I possess no medical related diplomas, certificates or any such documented credentials. All of the information I have to offer is pure experience. Validation of my experience, at least for me, is a matter of connecting-the-dots where the heuristic experience matches information from medical professionals, like Dr. Carney, Dr. Esselstyn, Dr. McDougall, Dr. T. Colin Campbell, Jeff Novick, Dr. Greger and so many, many more. I am deeply grateful to these professionals for their efforts in discovering and revealing the truth in biology and nutrition. I am especially grateful to Dr. Carney and Sean Carney for their enlightening information and inspiration and for making this blog possible.
I would like to say, however, that I do believe that experience is indeed a significant education, especially when fueled by a powerful motivation. For example, the intent of studying and learning the inner workings and management of type-1 diabetes was not for the purpose of passing a test to be awarded a diploma - it was to save my life.
Please stay tuned for Part 3,
