Association between dietary fiber and endometrial cancer: a dose-response meta-analysis.

Following a high-fiber diet may brighten a woman's chances of avoiding endometrial cancer.

​The purpose of this meta-analysis was to confirm the protective effect of dietary fiber against endometrial cancer. Researchers compiled data and evidence from 10 studies. 

Researchers noticed that high consumers of fiber-containing foods had less chances of acquiring endometrial cancer compared to their counterparts who ate little amounts or totally refrained from consuming these foods. This study adds to the growing body of evidence supporting the protective effect of high-fiber foods against endometrial cancer.
